These terms govern your use of abledly.com, the Abledly web cabinet and the Abledly app for Shopify (together, "Abledly"). By using Abledly you agree to them. They're written to be read.
1. What Abledly is — and is not
- Abledly is an automated accessibility scanning, monitoring and documentation tool. It finds real issues (axe-core, IBM Equal Access, design checks, AI review), suggests fixes, generates statements and reports, and keeps a dated record of your accessibility work.
- Abledly is not a compliance guarantee, a certification body, or a law firm. Automated testing covers only part of WCAG; manual review by humans remains necessary. Nothing Abledly produces is legal advice, and using Abledly does not make your website or store legally compliant or immune from claims.
- Abledly never injects overlays, widgets or scripts into your website or storefront.
2. Your responsibilities
- Only scan websites you own or are authorized to test. Scans fetch and render the target site the way a browser would.
- Review AI-generated output (fix suggestions, alt-text drafts, statements) before applying or publishing it. You approve every change; you own the results.
- Keep your account email accurate so alerts and reports reach you.
3. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Web-cabinet subscriptions are billed as shown at abledly.com/pricing.
- The Shopify app is billed exclusively through Shopify Billing on the plan you approve inside Shopify. Cancel any time by downgrading or uninstalling the app; Shopify prorates per its own rules. We never see or store your card details.
- Free tiers exist so you can verify the product is real before paying. We don't lock your data behind a paywall retroactively.
4. Service quality
- We aim for high availability but Abledly is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted service. Scans depend on your site being reachable.
- We may update features, limits and prices; material pricing changes are announced in advance and never applied silently to an active billing period.
5. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Abledly is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or the outcome of any legal claim brought against your business — accessibility risk is reduced by fixing issues, not by any tool's existence.
6. Data
Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. Summary: we store your scans and settings to provide the service, we don't sell data, and you can have your data deleted.
7. Termination
You can stop using Abledly at any time. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (scanning sites without authorization, attempting to disrupt the platform, or reselling output as fake certification). If we terminate for abuse, unused paid time is not refunded.
